Episoft Cleansing Lotion Review

Hi All !!

Lets start with our first review.

Today, I am going to review Episoft cleansing lotion. I have oily skin and acne prone skin. I have used Clean and Clear, Neutrogena and all other face washes which claim to control oil and prevent acne. Both Clean & Clear and Neutrogena have been good in what they claim. But, due to some marks and pimples, I went to a dermatologist who prescribed me Episoft Cleansing Lotion for sensitive skin. So, I tried this too :).

Pros
  • It does what it claims, leaves skin clean.
  • Doesn’t give rashes.
  • Leaves no oiliness or dryness on skin.
  • Very gentle and mild. Great for acne prone and sensitive skin.
  • Doesn’t cause skin to break out.
  • Less quantity needs to be used.
  • Smart packaging. Travel- friendly, easy to carry.
  • Non scented, no fragrance

Cons
  • Availability is an issue. Available at some medical stores, chemists only.
  • Doesn't remove makeup but it is not intended to :).

Verdict

I found it quite good, really light weight in texture and has been designed especially for sensitive skin. It is non greasy and leaves the skin smooth with neither oiliness or dryness, just as it is. No fragrance at all, non scented. I have used Cetaphil too and loved that. Cetaphil’s composition is somewhat strong as that is able to remove makeup too. Episoft doesn’t do that as it is gentler and milder and that’s what it is meant for :). I personally love Cetaphil as my skin is not that much sensitive. But yes, Episoft works very well and is a boon for ones with sensitive, acne prone skin.

Overall Rating

I would give this 4 out of 5.

  9. Babe, i seriously badly need help :( im 18 and i used to have super clean pimple free face >.< but for the last 3months i've been travelling alot and i started having alot of pimple(only on face) i used toothpast. It reduced the size of the pimple but it became a dark black mark. When i say dark brown i mean it. Its like burnt. I found out that toothpast does remove pimple upto a limit but when used everyday it'll burn the tissues underneath it. SO HERES MY PROBLEM. How will i get rid of that 'burnt' mark? And it is dark. Please Please respond ASAP . Thanks love :*

    1. Hi dear,
Please go to some dermatologist and show your skin. There are many tropical creams and face washes that can help you but if the problem is severe, you should go to a good doctor. Don't neglect :)
