Schwarzkopf Bonacure Smooth Shine Conditioner Review

Schwarzkopf BC Bonacure Smooth Shine is a range for people like me with coarse, unmanageable and dull hair, which is exactly my problem. I am prone to annoying frizz and have veryyyyyyy curly, unruly hair.

My Opinion for BC Smooth Shine Conditioner
This conditioner is thick and creamy and not much quantity is required. It spreads evenly and easily through the hair. It comes in a sleek white bottle with purple base. It has a flip cap to open. Purely milky white in colour and very light floral fragrance (very mild- won’t be a problem to anyone).

I left it for a few minutes in the hair and then combed and finally rinsed it out. My hair were instantly smooth, soft and more manageable.

I left my hair to dry naturally ( I always do  🙂 – don’t use dryer ever). The results were good. Smooth, shiny, less frizz. It cleansed my hair, provided moisture and some protection against frizz. That’s what I expected from my conditioner. May be the results would have been better with the same range of shampoo. Using this conditioner only is giving fine results. I used it with Matrix Biolage Smooththerapie Shampoo( will review it soon).
But, this product contains Sodium Laureth Sulfate(SLS). This can be drying on the hair and although this product didn’t feel drying in the slightest, this may be a discouraging factor for some.
540/- for 200ml. I got it at a discount of 10%, so 486/- for me  .

  • It does what it claims.
  • Smoothens unruly, frizzy hair.
  • Enhances shine and softness.
  • Super creamy formula, provides moisture.
  • Less quantity needs to be used. The bottle will last me for 3-4 months easily.
  • Very mild fragrance. Will not irritate anyone.
  • Sleek, smart packaging. Travel- friendly, easy to carry.
  • A good product for curly, unruly hair.
  • Price is a bit on the higher side.
  • Availability is an issue. Salons or some exclusive stores only.
  • Contains SLS.
  • I don’t think it would be any good for people with straight hair. It would weigh them down.
I would definitely recommend this if, like me, you have curly frizzy hair that look dull. I feel like it really smoothed my hair and made them look healthy and much more manageable.
I want to try BC’s complete range – Shampoo, Conditioner and Hair Masque. That should give real good results 🙂
Overall Rating
I would give this 4 out of 5.
