Sooo this is normal to get confused when we go to the beauty store to buy skin care products because market is full of many such products and further advertising also starts affecting our choice many times. All this makes it little difficult to choose from. For this, keep in mind your skin type and then there will be no confusion but just satisfaction. As we all know, skin is basically of 3 types: Oily, Dry and Normal. So let’s know about what to do and expect for each skin type.
Go for the products which are made especially for oily skin, as it will also prevent acne & pimple, if you suffer from these problems too. First, try the product on your face and not just hand, if it’s meant for face and just take a round around the mall or just go for more shopping ;). After half an hour or more, you will be able to see whether the product is perfect for your oily skin, whether it has a good staying power on your skin or not or whether it oxidizes on you. Just go for it, if you think it’s the perfect product you were searching for Jelse just go and try the other one. I know this needs much patience but your skin deserves it….I found my perfect HG foundation this way. I went to Select City Walk, Saket to try Lancome Teint miracle and Estee Lauder Double Wear. I tried both on my face and took a stroll for 30 mins after both and I found the latter one the best not better. Totally worth the time spent :).
If you have dry skin, try to use products made from almond, milk & honey. Always check ingredients first and choose products which are able to hide blemishes and wrinkles on your dry skin. Yeah, most important thing for all those who have dry skin is to stay away from powder based products as it will make your skin more dry. While choosing, try to avoid products with matte effects as it would give you a drier look ratherchoose glossy. Use moisturizers with high SPF. Try to avoid soaps as it strips skin’s natural oils. Instead use a moisturizing body wash, this way you will save body lotion too 😉 because your skin will demand less body lotion.
If you have normal or combination skin, go for BB creams or skin whitening creams. You can also go for dermacare beauty care products as these are made specially for sensitive skin. More so, if you are going out to buy some beauty products..don’t forget to read the labels to find the active ingredients. There might be ingredients that are unfamiliar, look them up to find out how they work, and check if you are allergic to any of them.
You can never go wrong with Cetaphil Cleansing Lotion for Sensitive Skin. It’s suitable for both sensitive as well as dry or combi skin. For oily skin you go for Cetaphil Oily Skin Cleanser, nothing can beat that. It’s not only free of skin-drying dyes and chemicals, but it’s also affordable and leaves skin feeling soft and smooth. It’s very gentle and removes the makeup completely leaving the skin pimple free….
So, do choose your product wisely next time to avoid extra useless purchases and make your skin happy happy 🙂
Love you all,
