Winters approaching fast and hence, the problems like dry skin, dandruff, chapped lips etc. I will try to cover up all the topics but today, we will find out some good home remedies for getting rid of dandruff.

Home remedies for curing Dandruff

Curd:
As we all know curd is wonderful for many hair problems so is for dandruff. Take about half a cup of curd and apply it on to your scalp thoroughly and let it stay for at least an hour, before washing it off with water and a mild shampoo.

Fenugreek (methi) paste:
 Soak 3-4 tbspn fenugreek seeds overnight in water and then in the morning grind them to a paste using the some of the same water. Apply this paste to the scalp and leave for around 30 minutes and then wash it off making sure that no residue is left behind.

Beetroot and ginger paste:
Take one beetroot (white beet) and boil it in water. Massage this boiled water on your scalp every night before sleeping. Choose a white beet because  the red variety may stain the pillows.


 Tulsi and amla paste: 
Tulsi also known as basil has many healing properties. Make a paste of Tulsi leaves and mix it with amla powder. Now, apply this paste for around 30 minutes on your scalp and then rinse it off. You will notice that your hair look much healthier. It will also control hairfall and other hair problems.

Aloe vera gel:
Take some fresh gel from an Aloe Vera leaf and apply it on your scalp atleast for 30 minutes. Later, rinse it off. Repeat this remedy daily to keep dandruff under check.

Lemon wash:
Its always easy to use because lemon is always easily reachable. To make lemon wash, take peels of around 3-4 lemons and boil them in water. After the solution cools down, throw away the peels and apply the solution on your hair, message and then rinse it off with water. Repeat it at least twice a week and see the noticeable change.

Neem leaves paste: 
Take some neem leaves and boil them for 30 minutes. After this, grind them and make a paste. Now apply this paste on to your scalp for around an hour and then rinse it off later. You will see that this remedy works wonders.

Reetha: 
Reetha works wonders for removing dandruff .Yes, reetha it is amazing when it comes to treating dandruff. Make a paste using reetha powder and apply it on your scalp. After two hours, rinse it off thoroughly using a mild shampoo.


 Green Gram Powder:  
Take about two tablespoons of green gram powder and mix it with half a cup of curd. Use this solution to wash your hair, massage gently and then rinse it off thoroughly using water. Do this twice a week for fast results.

Vinegar: 
Mix around 2 tbspn of cosmetic vinegar with 6 tbspn of hot water and apply the mixture on to your scalp. Now, cover your head with a piece of soft cloth and leave the solution on overnight. Wash your hair with warm water the next morning and shampoo as usual.

Ginger: 
Take some ginger root and mix it with warm olive oil and apply it on to your scalp. Olive oil nourishes your hair and also fights many hair problems. This remedy not only gets rid of dandruff, but also make your hair look healthy. Repeat this remedy at least a week to keep dandruff under check.

So, these are very simple to do recipes for helping us in getting rid of that stubborn dandruff. The best part is, most of the items are easily available in our kitchens and we don’t need to go searching them.
