My Weightloss Journey – Part 2

Hey Glossies 🙂
I am back with Part 2. A little lighter…..a little slimmer 🙂. No pics huns…no…no. Ritcha’s wedding day is running towards me. You get to see all the pics then only ;). I am not a good poser and I don’t like being clicked much :P.
So, my last post – My Weightloss Journey – Part 1 – was done on 26th June . These 3 months have not been a picnic for me. Managing home with kiddo and office plus those 1.5 hrs of gymming. I love going to gym and exercising now. It makes me feel good, light and fresh. But taking out the time for it has been  the biggest challenge for me. Sometimes morning, sometimes evening!! Morning was tough but evening was tougher as then, I got too little time to spend with my cutie pie son. Our precious moments reduced to, say ½-1 hr maximum, which I hate. But then, I had to do that too, or I would have lost my battle against fat!!
My Weightloss Journey – Part 2
So, with gymming, I noticed a nice inch loss, whole body, which made me work harder. But then, due to work pressure in office and some home commitments, I could not make it to gym for almost 20-25 days flat. Sad I was, felt bad too. My money and previous efforts were going wasted!! But then, I started off again, with more energy and more will power.
Biggest Problem – weight didn’t budge. Inch loss was there and weight was there too, as it is 🙂
So, this time, I treaded on a path which I couldn’t imagine possible earlier.
Low Carb Diet. How? Who would help me out with this diet!! Oh, you may be knowing 🙂
Anamika Sureka, Tarun Preet, Kanan Agnihotri Gautam – these ladies are out there with an amazing service and an equally website – I approached Tarun with some queries and she suggested me to join their program for a month to see if it works for me. The best part about their diet program is that it doesn’t leave you hungry. The diet suggests some good fats while leaving bad carbs. Oh, boy, that helped. Day by day, some weight started to shed off. The month passed away soon and my subscription ended. But what remained was a healthy and motivated me with 2-3 kgs lesser pressure on Earth 🙂.
My Weightloss Journey – Part 2
The diet is good and effective and monitored by the fitnessvsweighloss’s team regularly, actually daily. This last month had some festivities and my son’s birthday too was in September, so I cheated a bit…ohk….a bit more….warna I would have lost more of that bad weight!! In the start, say 15 days,  I managed to lose almost 3kgs easily, but then, after that I got stuck. It didn’t let it increase but due to my food habits, it didn’t even decrease.
Again, I am not demotivated. I am still ON that diet. I have started liking to cook a little bit extra for myself. All those chillas and dalias etc etc J. And on top of that, I have the support of Ana, Tarun and Kanan to help me and motivate me if I stuck 🙂. I will surely subscribe to their program again. If you feel the same and your weight is also not budging, then you should try once. Start with a month and if you find it effective, then extend. But, I am sure that if you follow them properly, you are gonna shed those extra kilos 🙂.
My Weightloss Journey – Part 2
Gym, I am still doing. A lot!! The bad part of gymming, what I have felt in these past 3 months is that, whenever you work out extensively, your body gets toned up a bit and results are visible. But a 2 days break takes your progress backwards. So, when people say that gymming makes slimmer but as soon as you stop, you are the same. I also feel like that. I know if I continue to work out extensively, I would be slimmer but this schedule is not possible for whole life. For that, I should concentrate more on diet and yoga. That would be better. But then, till Ritcha’s marriage, I have to do this 😉
I would come up with part 3 of my weightloss journey in November. I hope you enjoyed reading this. If you have any questions or queries, shoot them. I would be happy to answer all 🙂.
Stay healthy!!
Love you all
Charu 🙂

  2. There has to be a balance with working out and your diet everyone is different in how they accomplish it but the result will show in the long run if you stay in the same regimen of eating right and exercising. I believe overdoing it will burn you out and will bring you back fast to wear you started slow and working out that meet your schedule with no pressure in time you will not mind doing you will accomplish your goal.
