For all those who don’t know what mehendi ceremony is all about, let me tell you in brief. In Indian/hindu weddings a lot of emphasis is given on customs and rituals. Mehendi ceremony is one of those. Mehendi is performed as a ritual and henna tattoo or mehendi is applied on the hands and legs of bride and all other female relatives too which is followed by dance and dinner thereafter. People believe that the darker the color of bride’s mehendi, the more her husband will love her.
It’s is usually performed prior to the night of wedding and is celebrated with great pomp and show.
Let’s talk about Ritcha’s Mehendi Ceremony, an event which was not that huge and celebrated with family members, few friends and relatives like almost a gathering of 100-120 people (now thats not huge as for wedding, we had a gathering of almost 1000 ;)).
The most enjoyable part of such a post is pics 😉 So lets enjoy them –

We were looking for a place that would go with our theme. Chicago Wedding Venues had lots of room, big table, table/cloth color combos that fits out theme perfectly, modern look, fancy and varieties of lighting. These guys took care of the event perfectly.
