Colorbar Creme Touch Frisky Pink Lipstick – Review and Swatches

Hey My Beauties!!

Hope you all are doing great 🙂
A bright and great lip color and nail paint can sometimes brighten up the mood. It is so with me. When my mood is not that good and I got to go somewhere, a prefer using a bright shade which automatically boosts my mood. I personally love colorbar lippies as these are very affordable and colorbar has some nice colors to offer. I have also reviewed colorbar matt lipstick in creme cup in one of my previous post, which is my all time favorite and it has a permanent place in my bag.

Today, I am here to review a perky pink lip color from my stash of lippies which I am using for almost 3-4 months. Read on to know more about Frisky Pink lip color from Colorbar Creme Touch with SPF 15. I found this shade when I was searching for a budgeted pink shade for daily wear.

What Colorbar says about the range –

Colorbar Crème Touch Lipstick comes with the promise of lips that are eloquent and luscious. It comes with lovely rich colors and rich in moisturizing properties making lips look fuller and creamier all day long. It has sheabutter, Vitamin E and sunscreen agents at SPF 15 level which nourish and protect your lips against UV rays. It glides on effortlessly for flawless, even coverage for that perfect pout. Colorbar Crème Touch Lipstick are the perfect way to pamper your lips, not only you will love the rich, lustrous colour, but the lovely creamy texture of the lip colour as well.

Price –

Rs. 450/-

Packaging –

Its comes in a silver cardboard box packaging.  Inside that, reveals a slim sliver glossy tube with colorbar engrossed  in one side of the tube. Though the packaging is not that sturdy, but its quite ok. I always keep it in my purse and cap has never opened itself and the case quality is good too. So, it is travel friendly too.

Texture –

Texture of this lipstick is quite creamy and well hydrated and is on the glossier side. This glides on easily and smoothly on lips and there is no need of extra moisturising. When you apply, this seems to be sufficiently creamy though not too much. Though it is creamy yet it doesn’t bleed. The pigmentation of this lip color is quite ok, though not too much. It gives a nice glossy finish to the lips.

Staying Power –

Staying power is fine. Doesn’t last whole day like my creme cup but since it is a different range and specifically creamy, so not even expected to last whole day. But 2-3 hours, it stays and thats fine with me.

Ingredients –

My Views on Colorbar Creme Touch Frisky Pink –

The pigmentation of this lip colour is quite ok, not that good as other colorbar lippies. For a good color, you need to apply multiple strokes as it is too much creamy and glossy and doesn’t give the required color in one stroke.  The staying power is quite decent. As it is very creamy it stays for upto 3 hours with all the eating and drinking and even after that leaves a tint on your lips. It transfers easily on on cups or glasses.

The lip color is very creamy but it doesn’t have bleeding type of consistency. As it is kinda coral pink, I didn’t like it much on my complexion and its way too creamy. But yes it does look good on fair complexion. The best thing is it is very economical and doesn’t feel heavy on your pocket.

It washes me out and makes me look a bit darker if not worn with full makeup. It may or may not wash you out but a tip from me for dusky beauties – do wear this when you are in mood for doing full makeup.

My view – It better suits fair skin tones 🙂

Pros –

  • Frisky Pink is a beautiful daily wear coral pink shade.
  • Very creamy texture and glossy too.
  • Keeps lips moisturised.
  • It doesn’t settle into fine lines.
  • Packaging is travel friendly.
  • Inexpensive for the quantity and the quality provided.
  • Great range of colours.
  • Contains SPF.

Cons –
  • Easily transferable.
  • Doesn’t last long.
  • Might not suit wheatish complexion.

Overall Rating –

3.8/5
I love colorbar lippies and obsessed with many from this range but I din’t like this shade much, not for my complexion. I may not repurchase it but it is good to try as it will suit fair complexion and if you like creamy lipsticks then this is perfect for you.
Do you own any from this range? If yes, tell me how you like it!!
I would love to know your views 🙂
