Let’s read on to know about some ingredients which are all their in your kitchen and how to use them, with these, you can do wonders for your hair.

DIY Hair Mask

METHI: If your hair is craving a solution to its monsoon hair woes like frizz, static flyaways and limpness, look no further than the hydrating goodness of Methi.
Soak 2 tablespoons of Methi seeds overnight in 1 cup of water and blend into a paste the next day. Add the paste to ½ a cup of yogurt and 1 tablespoon of Parachute Advansed Hair Oil. Apply the hair mask to the scalp & hair ends, and leave it on for 30 minutes before washing it off.

OATS: If you don’t want bad hair days to last the entire season,  make Oats your hair’s best friend. It will trap the moisture in and tame the frizz out in a jiffy!
Blend ½ cup Oats, 2 tablespoon of coconut oil, and ½ cup milk into a paste. Apply this hair mask to your scalp and you hair as well. These ingredients are enough for shoulder length hair. If you have longer hair, make sure you double it up!

DIY hair mask ingredients

ALOE VERA GEL: The rainy months of humidity leave your locks parched. Quench your hair’s thirst with Aloe Vera- a natural humectant that attracts moisture and restores your hair’s hydration from within.
Blend in 3 tablespoons of Aloe Vera gel with 3 tablespoons of Parachute Advansed Hair Oil using a fork (for shoulder length hair; double up the ingredients in case of long hair). Apply the gel on your hair and scalp. You could even wrap your hair up with a hot towel for the oil to penetrate deeper and faster into the scalp.

SHIKAKAI POWDER: Make your hair strong from within with the Ayurvedic nourishment of Shikakai. With its strengthening, anti-fungal, and shine- promoting properties, no monsoon winds can stand a chance!
Mix 1 tablespoon of Shikakai powder with 1 cup of coconut oil. Shake vigorously, and let the mixture rest for 2 weeks. Keep shaking it in the middle as well. After 2 weeks, your Shikakai oil will be ready to use.
Try these amazing DIY hair masks and I am sure you will be surprised with the results!!
But, if you are a lazy soul like me, then collecting all the ingredients becomes a task in itself. Ok, I agree that at a point of time, we have at least 2 of the above mentioned products at home but then what if I want to make a mask of other too!! And what about OIL. What if I am not having the desired one!!
Problem!!
Oh, you are here at the right time J. I am glad to give you an opportunity to WIN THE ATTRACTIVE DIY HAMPER shown here by PARACHUTE ADVANSED Hair Oil.

  1. Coconut oil and honey hair mask .

    1 tbsp. Organic Coconut Oil
    1 tbsp. Organic Raw Honey

Mix the ingredients together in a small sauce pan on slow gas.

The mask can be applied to dry or wet hair, although.

Wrap your hair in a bun and let the mask soak in for 30-40 minutes.

    This makes your hair smoother.

  2. During monsoon, my hair tend to be frizzy and develop more split ends due to roughness. I can't take this alarming condition of my crowning beauty so easily, thats why I ensure spending every weekend giving enough nourishment to my hair with some all natural home remedies.
One of the most effective and easiest one that suits my hair type is to —
MIX 3 TBSP OF COCONUT OIL WITH 2 TBSP OF HONEY AND 1 TBSP OF FRESH ONION JUICE. MASSAGE IT ON THE SCALP IN GENTLE STROKES AND CAREFULLY COMB HAIR TO DISTRIBUTE THE MASK EVENLY DOWN THE LENGTH OF HAIR. WASH THE HAIR OFF WITH A MILD SHAMPOO AFTER 15-20 MINS.
This recipe gets back lost lustre of my hair instantly and onion juice is said to contribute in hair regrowth too. Honey, as a super ingredient, nourishes dryness of my hair with deep moisturization and coconut oil is undoubtedly the nectar for hair to promote good health of scalp and hair shaft.

  6. COCONUT-HONEY-APPLE CIDER VINEGAR HAIR MASK
2 tbsp of Organic Coconut Oil
    1 tbsp of Local Honey
1 tbsp of Raw Apple Cider Vinegar
These amounts can vary depending how long or thick your hair is.
Melt the coconut oil until liquid. Add the honey to the melting coconut oil. If it’s cool in your home, you might try popping the honey in the microwave for a few seconds to warm it up. Next add the apple cider vinegar.
Mix the ingredients well. If it separates a little bit, that’s perfectly fine. Just give it a swirl or two as you apply it to make sure you are getting an even amount of each ingredient.
I find the best way to apply the mask it use a hair coloring brush or a natural pastry brush. Section your hair into four equal parts, then part your hair in half inch sections. Apply the coconut oil hair mask starting at the roots and move up to the tips of your hair. Once you get a section done, massage your hair with your finger tips to really get it in. Pile your hair into a bun and let it sit for 15-20 minutes, then wash with a mild and natural shampoo. I did not need an additional conditioner.

If your hair is very dry, leave the mask on longer. Better yet, wrap your hair in a towel or use a shower cap and leave the mask on for an hour or more, then rinse. Style as usual.

  14. I always had enviable long, silky, straight hair. Last year I was suffering from a severe disease and the medications were so strong I lost most of my hair. Now that I’m sort of okay it grew back in curls with some nearly bald patches. The textures changed and it’s frizzy too. Also there’s a bit of gray. Being young this takes away your confidence. I was wondering about how I could tackle my problem. I applied curd to tame my hair and it helped calm my frizz to great extent. Plus since curd is natural it doesn’t have any chemicals – since chemicals is a big no-no for me. In order make hair more manageable I make a paste using 3 tablespoons of curd, 2 tablespoons of Parachute coconut oil, and 4 tablespoons of aloe vera gel. I apply this paste on my hair and leave it for half-an-hour. I then wash away with a mild shampoo. #parachuteadvansed , #myglossyaffair
