Inglot black liquid eyeliner – Review and Swatches

An early weekend this time. Happy me 🙂

More time to relax, more time to spend with kids. Oh…how I love this :))

Today, my review is about a product that enhances the most enticing part of our body….our eyes. Eyes can be so expressive yet they can hide anything. I love making my eyes more beautiful through various eye makeup looks, different eye liners etc. etc.

But do I like all products that make eyes prettier!!

I am a sucker for all makeup products. Eyes, lips, face, actually every makeup product I just adore.

Coming back to eyes, I have been so fond of eye liners since I got to know that I am a girly sort of girl and we girls have full right to enhance our natural features!! Eyeliner was one of my first few makeup items. I have not looked back since that time.  Yes, eye liners have been a companion even before I fell in love with my hubby 😛 **just kidding**
I have tried many eyeliners, be it liquid, gel, kohl, pencil or just any. But Inglot liquid eyeliner is one of the best liquid eyeliners I have ever used.  Read on more to know more about this black beauty.

What the brand says:

High intensity pigments and an ultra-fine applicator guarantees high precision and solid colour with this quick drying liquid liner that doesn’t smudge. Silicones protect the skin and smoothen textural differences ensuring flawless application.
Staying Power:

It is water resistant but not waterproof. It does not get washed off completely with water and you would require a makeup remover. It does not smudge or flake. Impressive!

Inglot black liquid eyeliner - Review and Swatches
Inglot liquid eyeliner comes in a good quality black plastic body. The applicator is pretty easy to use with a felt tip. The tip is enough hard and thin to provide desirable application. I really really like it.
The texture is very fine, neither too thick nor runny. Dries up really quick and gives a jet black colour. Yes, you read it right, this eyeliner provides a high love love this thing too 🙂

Rs. 900/- for 4ml.

My Views on Inglot Liquid Eyeliner :

What do you look for in a liquid eyeliner?

Pigmentation – Inglot liquid eyeliner in black provides a high pigmentation and its easy to hold applicator just adds on to the positives.

Applicator brush – The applicator tip is so user friendly that you can easily apply any shape of eyeliner, be it thick or super thin, wing or no-wing. Even if you don’t like it, you can always use your own eye liner brush for easy application.

It come in a black bottle, which is quite travel friendly. The only thing which is a turned off for me is that it is not waterproof. Had it been waterproof, it would have been best eyeliner present in market these days. I have super oily eyelids and it does smudge in humid weather and in rains, it can make you look devilish :D. So, better avoid.

The price that it comes at, a whopping amount of Rs. 900/-  for 4ml, I don’t feel it is worth that much. The packaging is no luxury, the quantity is not much and it is not waterproof.

What makes it work for me is its color, the jet black, the brush, the consistency, the drying speed. Plus, it contains no parabens.
  •        Jet black color.
  •        Easy to use applicator.
  •        Smooth and thin tip.
  •       Stays on really long.
  •        Travel friendly packaging.
  •        No parabens.
Cons :
  •        It’s not waterproof
  •        Expensive

Overall Rating:

I would have given it 4.5 if it had been priced at Rs. 500 or less. At 900 bucks, we expect much more. Though I love the intense color payoff and quality but that it is not waterproof and seeing the quantity, I think they could have priced it better. But then, the brand is not mine to comment :P.
You can definitely give this a try for its amazing blackest black color and easy formula. Just avoid in rainy and humid weather and you will surely love it.

  1. Charu, I have never been able to apply liquid eye liner… I think it's probably something to do with the liner, usually the brush was too floppy and the liner itself to liquidy… It's too bad this one sounds to be too expensive as it does seem to have great color and a nice line on the eye… xox

  2. looks nice! I also find Inglot product quite expensive

  3. So precise and detailed thanks!
