All those who are regular on my blog know how madly I am in love with this cleanser. I have used many other skin cleansers and face washes too, some I got for review and some as gift, some I purchased but none of them has replaced this one till date.
Let us know why I love this one!!
What the brand says:
Cetaphil Oily Skin Cleanser provides effective cleansing for combination to oily and blemished skin. It’s gentle foaming action helps remove oil, dirt, skin debris and makeup without leaving your skin dry that results from soap-based cleansers. It is specially formulated to remove all the excess oil without affecting your skin barrier. For all those who don’t know, skin acts as a barrier, keeping moisture inside so it is important for a cleanser to work without compromising the skin barrier.
Cetaphil Oily Skin Cleanser does not clog pores and is recommended to be used in conjunction with acne medication.
Directions to use:
Take small amount of cleanser and massage onto wet skin. Rinse with water.
Cetaphil cleanser comes in an off white plastic bottle with a pump nozzle, which makes it really easy to use without creating the mess. As you can see in the pics.
My Views on Cetaphil Oily Skin Cleanser:
As a teenager I faced severe acne and for this reason, I visited many dermatologists and tried many home remedies too. Then someone recommended me this face wash/cleanser. Since that day I have never looked back. I am not saying that I got rid of all the acne and pimples because of this but this definitely helped reducing the problem to a great extent. When I use this, no new acne or pimple erupts. Old pimples get dried slowly and just go away. Once I had severe acne marks and now they have reduced so much. Though it is not because of this cleanser but my skin has simply healed over time and since no new pimples erupt, healing becomes better.
The texture of this cleanser is on liquid side and a very little quantity is required for full face, say a single pump with little pressure. It spreads easily and washes off equally easily. It lathers well, removes all dirt and grime and leaves skin soft and smooth, doesn’t make it dry at all. It doesn’t have a scent.
If you have applied waterproof makeup, then you need to remove that with cotton and oil or makeup remover. But for normal makeup, this cleanser is capable of fully removing it and not even a trace is left. It leaves my skin squeaky clean and radiant. I am impressed at how well it removes all the makeup without any effort.
If you too are facing severe acne then this cleanser is for you but you also need to follow a skin care routine to end your acne problem. I have discussed my Skin Care Routine in detail sometime back, you can read it here.
