e.l.f. cosmetics is a brand that is very dear to almost all of us. Super affordable yet quality products are its usp. Plus it is a cruelty free brand. Personally, I like e.l.f and wetnwild, both a lot.
e.l.f. stands for eyes- lips- face and they make products that cater to all these categories. My eyes were set on this e.l.f. lip exfoliator since I saw this and at 1st chance, I got this.
What e.l.f. says about this Lip Exfoliator –
Gently exfoliate lips to remove dry, chapped skin with the e.l.f. Cosmetics Lip Exfoliator! This Lip Exfoliator treats and smoothes lips for a conditioned and revitalized feel. Cruelty free and vegan.
How to use –
Gently rub the tube over your lips in small, circular motions. Wipe gently with a cotton pad and follow up with a nourishing lip balm.
Sucrose, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Ozokerite, Fragrance (Parfum), Synthetic Candelilla Wax, Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate (Ve).
It comes in a classy black cardboard box and inside, there is a black lipstick like bullet is there. Totally resembles lipstick from outside, black bullet, it looks super luxurious. Twist it and exfoliate. Done!!

Can it be cheaper?? Nope!!
My Experience with e.l.f. Lip Exfoliator –
I adore this lip exfoliator. Till I got this, I was doing only hacks to get rid of chapped lips instantly. But its lot more easier and faster now and lips are left so soft, smooth and moisturised.
It tastes good and feels too good. You actually feel like it is doing its work. In winters, I suffer from chapped lips a lot. And I have a habit of peeling lips (so do my babies :P, bad it is). So, mostly my lips are in bad state in winters. But this lip exfoliator has changed their condition a bit. Since the product is interesting me a lot these days, I always take it out.
How do I use it – Twist the bullet, the exfoliator stick comes out. Gently rub it on lips, apply like a lipstick, move over for say, 4-5 times and done. I let it be there for additional 1 minute if I have time and then wipe off. Then I normally apply my Carmex lip balm. Huge difference it makes.
The texture of the exfoliator is similar to face scrubs. There are fine granules of sugar who do the exfoliation and the goodness of grape seed oil, jojoba oil and avocado oil for moisturisation. I love the lipstick like packaging, I so not like those tubs and rubbing with fingers. Also, there is no overpowering smell, no sticky feeling, no mess at all.
- As affordable as possible – $3 (on discounts most of the time).
- Packaging – Lipstick like bullet. No messy tubs.
- No smell, no stickiness.
- Works great for exfoliation of lips as well as moisturising them
- A handy travel friendly packaging.
- Leaves lips soft, smooth and moisturised.
- Great to use before applying matte/ liquid lipsticks.
- Good for dry or chapped lips.
- Cruelty free and vegan.
- Quantity is bit less but at that cost, you can’t complain!!
MGA Rating –
According to me, everyone should get this one. So quick and easy to use and the results are superb. Plus, it is so so so affordable at $3 and e.l.f. products are at discount most of the time. I got mine at 50% discount. Hacks are costlier than this :). Go, get one :). I will surely get it again, may be other variants.
