My take on it –
Wella is a good brand for haircare products and they have a good range for all types of hair, whether dry hair, oily hair, curly hair, smoothening, volumnizing effects, bounce or any other requirement. Browse their products and you will find something suitable. I particularly find their Professional SP range very good, be it shampoo or mask.
I have got my mum use it as she colours her hair (I have not started yet ;)). I have seen the results on her hair for almost over a month now and I am reviewing it on her behalf, as per she reviewed it orally to me 🙂
This Wella Professionals Brilliance shampoo for coloured hair is pretty nice and is a good choice for coloured hair. She says that it doesn’t strip the hair of the color for which it is meant and like some other shampoos do, they take away the hair colour pretty fast. It maintains the natural oils of hair, keeps them hydrated and brings shine to them. Now isn’t that nice? This is meant for these things only. Hair look more vibrant and soft. Plus it smells pleasant!! Bonus…yeah 🙂
A liitle product goes a long way. Not too much quantity is required to cleanse the hair and scalp. Now that takes care of the cost factor too. Even I have used it to wash my hair many times. I don’t have colored hair but dry, curly hair and I find it quite good for my hair too. My dry hair also felt good and it kept them hydrated and soft.
But caution – It is not good enough for henna coloured hair and strip henna of hair. It’s not meant for henna hair but I mentioned because many ladies here use henna for colouring of hair as it is considered to be damage free. Damage less, yes, but not damage free – it is my opinion :).
The texture of this shampoo is creamy and not so thick but not so runny either.
So, all in all, I find this shampoo quite good for colored hair and justifies the cost too.
- Good for colored hair.
- Smells good.
- Good, sturdy packaging.
- Cleanses hair and scalp properly.
- Less quantity is required.
- Works for dry, coarse hair too.
- Feels light on hair, no build-up like feeling.
- It is somewhat expensive but we don’t get cheaper shampoos for specific reasons like coloured hair for this one.
- Availability as it is available in some salons if in their stock. But available online too these days.
