Hey My Beauties!!
Today, I am here to review a perky pink lip color from my stash of lippies which I am using for almost 3-4 months. Read on to know more about Frisky Pink lip color from Colorbar Creme Touch with SPF 15. I found this shade when I was searching for a budgeted pink shade for daily wear.
Its comes in a silver cardboard box packaging. Inside that, reveals a slim sliver glossy tube with colorbar engrossed in one side of the tube. Though the packaging is not that sturdy, but its quite ok. I always keep it in my purse and cap has never opened itself and the case quality is good too. So, it is travel friendly too.
Texture of this lipstick is quite creamy and well hydrated and is on the glossier side. This glides on easily and smoothly on lips and there is no need of extra moisturising. When you apply, this seems to be sufficiently creamy though not too much. Though it is creamy yet it doesn’t bleed. The pigmentation of this lip color is quite ok, though not too much. It gives a nice glossy finish to the lips.
Ingredients –
The pigmentation of this lip colour is quite ok, not that good as other colorbar lippies. For a good color, you need to apply multiple strokes as it is too much creamy and glossy and doesn’t give the required color in one stroke. The staying power is quite decent. As it is very creamy it stays for upto 3 hours with all the eating and drinking and even after that leaves a tint on your lips. It transfers easily on on cups or glasses.
The lip color is very creamy but it doesn’t have bleeding type of consistency. As it is kinda coral pink, I didn’t like it much on my complexion and its way too creamy. But yes it does look good on fair complexion. The best thing is it is very economical and doesn’t feel heavy on your pocket.
It washes me out and makes me look a bit darker if not worn with full makeup. It may or may not wash you out but a tip from me for dusky beauties – do wear this when you are in mood for doing full makeup.
My view – It better suits fair skin tones 🙂
- Frisky Pink is a beautiful daily wear coral pink shade.
- Very creamy texture and glossy too.
- Keeps lips moisturised.
- It doesn’t settle into fine lines.
- Packaging is travel friendly.
- Inexpensive for the quantity and the quality provided.
- Great range of colours.
- Contains SPF.
- Easily transferable.
- Doesn’t last long.
- Might not suit wheatish complexion.
Charu… the pink is pretty but you are right it does look good with a fairer skin… I've come to love matte lipsticks as the color lasts so much longer… ♡ xox
